A SUBWAY Assistant Restaurant Manager assists in directing staff to ensure that food safety, product preparation, and cleanliness standards are maintained. They maintain standards of restaurant safety and security. They recruit staff and focus on training, as well as perform inventory and cash control management. Ideally this individual has goals to become a store manager or more.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Assisting with preparing staff work schedules.
- Assisting with personnel decisions, training
- Communicating changes of food preparations formulas, standards, etc. to staff.
- Ensuring that all local and national health and food safety codes are maintained and company safety and security policy are followed.
- Maintaining business records
- Supporting local and national marketing initiatives.
- Completing additional training
