What you’ll do

We are looking for an Early Talent who takes initiative, ready to learn and shows interest in mobile integration to join the backend integration development team at the Chicago, Illinois location, for the development of reusable integration services for the mobile applications and cloud solutions. In your day-to-day you will:

• Design, development, and support of business application integration components for new and existing complex mobile applications in areas such as enterprise asset management and field services
• Ability to work independently as well as with the team and ability to understand and master new technologies quickly.
• Test software in accordance with SAP’s testing standards as defined in the unit test plans.
• Provide support to quality assurance and consulting services as needed.
• Full Stack Development: Develop both frontend and backend tasks, Test, Maintenance and Support.
• Enthusiastic to work in a dynamic and challenging working environment with changing requirements and constantly changing technologies.
• Build up experience and solutions for DevOps models.
• Innovate and create new tools that will help SAP run simple.

What you bring

• 
  Associates, Bachelors or Master’s degree in computer science, natural science, engineering sciences, mathematics, or equivalent subject
• 0 ~ 3 years of application development experience
• Solid background in computer software development fundamentals and technologies (algorithms and data structures, on-device memory management, user interface development, design patterns, data transfer protocols, software engineering, multi-tier application architectures, etc.)
• Experience in agile work environments and Scrum driven projects
• Strong programming skills in at least one of the programming languages & skills: Java, JavaScript, Python, NodeJS, Spring, Scala etc.,
• Knowledge in SQL programming and Data Modelling
• Knowledge on building Cloud based applications
• Strong focus on usability, user experience, quality, and performance

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 49,600 - 112,600 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
