We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Childcare Administrator to join our Jefferson team. The successful candidate must be a self starter with the ability to multitask, remain calm during stressful situations, have a passion for working with children, excellent communication skills, have the ability to make daily executive decisions and build positive relationships with families and staff at HDC.
Administrator is responsible for the quality of operations at the center, onboarding, licensing compliance, Step Up and curriculum compliance. The successful candidate shall have a good knowledge base for technology and ability to quickly learn how to utilize our online systems.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for children and staff, maintain day to day operations.
Responsibilities:
*Ensure a safe & happy environment for children, families & staff
*Ensure the center facilities are clean and safe for children
*Manage & support teaching staff and promote their professional development
*Interview, hire and train new staff based on the centers core values, SOP's and ensure they follow all federal, state and local laws & regulations.
*Complete ongoing training & attend conferences paid for by HDC
*Communicate and meet with parents regarding their children and center's policies
*Create Parent to Center connections
*Community connections
*Using and maintaining our online systems
*Continuous program improvement
