The Clinical Research Assistant II performs a wide variety of activities related to clinical research study. The Clinical Research Assistant II supports the P.I. in their efforts to successfully complete study related activities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Assists with researching, editing, and transcribing papers
  • Coordinates meetings and appointments, and maintains P.I’s calendar.
  • Assists with editing and writing correspondences
  • Provides organizational, administrative and clinical assistance for designated area.
  • Serves as a liaison between Research Team and P.I.
  • Maintains source documents and subject files in accordance with hospital procedures. Ensures accurate and complete compilation of subject data through chart reviews.
  • Performs other related duties.

Requirements:

  • Education: Associates Degree in related field or HS Diploma with equivalent related experience.
  • Experience: 2 years in research environment preferred
  • General Skills:

§ Excellent written and oral communication skills

§ Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

§ Ability to juggle multiple tasks and schedules.

Compensation

The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $31,116.55 - $53,559.93 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
