Job Description

Job Summary :

  • Produces machined parts from a variety of material and ensures a high standard of quality is maintained by setting up and operating an assortment of machining equipment.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Effectively communicates with department supervisors
  • Operate assigned machines, make set-ups, compute machine speeds and feeds.
  • Improves part quality and production efficiency by editing and upgrading existing programs on machines as directed.
  • Troubleshoots and corrects problems in a timely manner.
  • Ensures waste is disposed of properly by using the appropriate equipment and by putting the waste in the correct receptacle.
  • Fills out the inspection reports (sampling inspection for CNC machines)
  • Follow Quality Policy and Department Processes

Minimum Job Qualifications :

  • 2 years exp Manufacturing programming
  • 2 years’ experience in CNC machine –Lathe
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship
