Job Description

K9 Cabana Dog Resort & Training Center is currently hiring a full-time Communication Specialist to communicate our services and offerings in a fun way and engage our pet parents in our social media communications.

Responsibilities

As a Communication Specialist, you create promotional content for our company's website and social media platforms, as well as print, that increases interest in our services, and educates, and engages pet owners. You are a creative person who loves dogs and writes compelling articles, blogs, and other fresh content that informs our clients about our services while delivering a clear message setting us a part as the premier pet resort in the Myrtle Beach area.

You will collaborate with our doggy daycare, lodging, training, and grooming departments to develop and implement videos and content as well as create and manage strategic calendars for publishing this content to our social media platforms.

• Produces fresh content frequently and efficiently.
• A multi-tasker that manages a variety of projects simultaneously
• Someone that works well both independently and as part of a team.
• You are an exceptional communicator able to relay information in a fun, friendly and positive manner.
• You LOVE dogs, love learning about dogs and love sharing dog knowledge with others.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or a related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills including proper grammar, spelling and punctuation.
• Proficiency with software packages such as Microsoft Office and Canva.
• Proficient in posting content to Social Media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and TikTok
• Reliable transportation
• Experience coordinating events is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
