Local long-standing truck line North Park Transportation Co in Denver, CO has an immediate entry level full time Customer Service/Data Entry opening. This is an in-office position reporting to the Office Manager located in the corporate office in Denver, CO.

Pay Range: $18-$20.00/hr, depending on experience.

Hours: 7:00am-4:00pm, Monday through Friday. May be occasional OT.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for successfully providing excellent customer service duties, as well as support other positions as needed.
  • Answer phones and respond to emails in a courteous and timely manner.
  • Perform general customer service such as tracking status of shipments, assisting clients with correctly completing the Bill of Lading, answering Terminal questions and processing incoming pickups.
  • Respond timely to internal and external issues or questions to ensure satisfaction.
  • Assist dispatch with scheduling freight delivery appointments.
  • Scan and send Bill of Ladings, Delivery Receipts and other documents as needed both internally and externally.
  • Complete Bills on Hold report-releasing bill on an as-needed basis.
  • Assist walk-in clients as needed.
  • Assist with freight manifest.
  • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, auditing or summarizing information.
  • Assists with general office duties such as filing and copying.
  • Obtains documentation from clients for additional services and reconsignments.
  • Works outside of general job description duties to assist others on an as-needed basis.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 0-2 years’ experience in customer service.
  • Must have strong typing and 10-key skills.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in an office environment and with vendors, clients and employees as needed to perform essential duties and job functions.
  • Ability to handle multiple requests and priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and interpersonal skills.

PREFERRED:

  • Knowledge and experience in the transportation industry.
  • Experience with the AS400 operating system.
