Job Description

Our client, a leading global specialty retailer is looking for a Customer Experience Associate to join their growing team. This is an NYC based company, and they are looking for a detail-oriented and hardworking candidate. This position is remote and will need someone to commit 3-6 months.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$20 – $22/hr

Position Overview:

The Customer Experience Associate will be assisting clients via email, phone, and chat. At least one-year experience in a same role or related field is required. The Customer Experience Associate must also have strong communication and problem-solving skills while having the mentality to go above and beyond to provide exceptional service to their clients.

Responsibilities of the Customer Experience Associate:

  • Answers incoming phone calls, emails, makes outgoing calls and follows up on customer questions in a timely and accurate manner; ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Conducts lead management, CRM and prospecting activities to evaluate our customers, their needs and the solutions we can provide for best-fit products and services
  • Partners with sales teams to meet and exceed customers service expectations
  • Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives
  • Willingness and ability to help out with the team as necessary
  • Works cross-functionally to bring the customer’s feedback and point of view to internal teams
  • Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives

Qualifications for the Customer Experience Associate:

  • 1+ year of Customer Service or call center experience preferred
  • Zendesk, or other CRM experience preferred
  • Must be available to work full time hours and some weekends
  • Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Positive attitude is extremely important

Education Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree is required
