JOB DETAILS :
As a Software Engineer II for Aquent Studios: working at one of our top clients (John Deere), the candidate will:

• Develop, code, configure, and test programs and systems for Internal Agile Metrics application (ReactJS; NodeJS; TypeScript, GIT methodologies)
• Design, architect, and build scalable cloud solutions to host virtual dev, qual, and prod application environments (AWS Cloud Technology, Containerization docker, ECS, RDS, Ci/CD best practices Drone/Github actions)
• Supports advanced configuration, integrations, and operations of Agile SaaS tools: Jira (Backlog Management), Mural(Whiteboarding), TeamRetro (Retrospectives), and Quantive(OKRs)
Evaluates and implements enhancement design solutions to improve cost, quality, and performance of software applications
• Analyzes assignments and determines software specifications that must be fulfilled to achieve objectives
• Executes necessary documentation as needed
• Collaborates with other relevant stakeholders and team members to ensure that features meet business needs
• Follows industry-standard agile software design methodology for development and documentation
• Mentors junior software engineers within the team and across multiple products
• Leads engineering practices alongside engineering manager

Required Skills :

• Ability to advocate for Agile best practices including Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment, Clean Code practices, Scrum methodologies
• Ability to analyze, translate, and define business requirements into technical solutions
• Ability to apply engineering principles and concepts for designs
• Excellence in verbal and written communication forms with emphasis on persuasive communication, tact and negotiation
• Ability to manage many competing priorities/requests in a fast-paced environment
• - Hands-on experience designing and developing in React - 4 years
• - Hands-on experience designing and developing in JavaScript (TypeScript) and Node.JS - 3 years
• - Hands-on experience implementing, testing, and supporting APIs - 3 years
• Hands-on experience implementing, testing, and supporting CI/CD pipelines – 2 years
• - Product design, test and/or analysis experience. - 3 years
• - Experience in Agile Development - 3 years

Preferred Skills :

• Fluency in client/server communication patterns
• Expertise in architecting, building, and deployment of scalable and engaging web interfaces
• Expertise in debugging UI issues and performance optimization geared towards user experience
