JOB SUMMARY

Plans, organizes, directs and controls Business Services activities within the department and throughout the hospital. Responsible for hiring, training, directing and monitoring Business Services personnel. Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Business Office and Admitting. Works with the Business Office Manager to set, monitor and ensure compliance with departmental goals, work within departmental budgets, develop policies and procedures, evaluate departmental performance, educate/guide employees and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal agencies/payers/employers. Also ensures compliance with hospital and corporate guidelines.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Required: Bachelor’s degree
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in business, health administration, or related degree
• Required: 8 years in A/R management and/or managed care contracting and analysis as well as directing a multi-facility business office

Pay range: $56.42 - $90.28

Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience
