Job Description

Collum Electric Service, LLC is seeking an experienced electrician or apprentice. A journeyman license is desired but not required. Apprenticeship schooling and on the job training are provided to the right individual with a strong work ethic. Collum Electric Service has been providing residential, commercial, and agricultural electrical services for over 50 years and is looking for a long term employee who can grow with the company. The individual must be able to work alone or as part of a crew. The qualified person must have a great attitude and be able to communicate effectively with coworkers and customers. Compensation is competitive and is based on experience. Benefits are also provided. This job is located in Brooklyn, Iowa. Most projects are local and within one hours drive. Tasks include:

- Bending conduit, pulling wire, trenching, aerial bucket truck work, working from a ladder, lift, or scaffolding, troubleshooting electrical circuits, control wiring and termination, motor installation and wiring, motor control center installation, control panel wiring, installing switches and receptacles, installing light fixtures, low voltage cabling, generator installation

Minimum Qualifications:

- Attention to detail and self motivated

- Positive attitude and strong communication skills

- Valid driver's license and a good driving record

- Ability to follow proper safety techniques

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

• Electrical: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)
• Electrical License (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (Preferred)
