The Finance Transformation Analyst will support the development of strategies that transform the way that McLane does business. Managing organization-wide operations and commercial projects, you would assist with and support the coordination of McLane's transformation strategy by taking ownership over a variety of initiatives through planning, execution, and measuring impact. This role will have significant influence across our entire our organization through outstanding project management, bringing in best practices as well as having a strong analytical mindset. You would help create business plans, impact assessments and readiness plans to drive quality execution. This would be accomplished by driving beginning-to-end project management and delivery of initiatives, providing frequent and timely communication to share status and raise risks and developing strategic delivery plans and initiatives for and across different functional areas.

In order to be successful in this position, you would need:
  • Deep expertise on business, financial and/or accounting best-practices
  • Exceptional sense of judgment and ability to make strong and independent decisions under ambiguous situations.
  • Strong influencing and partnering skills across all levels of the organization.
  • Enjoy working on a highly collaborative team.
  • Analytical skills with an eye for story-telling with data.
  • Project management ownership
  • Ability to maintain a strict code of confidentiality and discretion.
  • Additionally, McLane requires a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or closely related field and 3-5 years' experience with planning, project management and/or working in a financial arena with proven experience utilizing business management tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio, and Project.

This role is open to a remote option with expectations of collaborating in-person on our beautiful campus located in Temple, Texas 3-4 days each week.
