Stew Leonard’s, a family-owned and operated fresh food store founded in 1969, has seven stores in Norwalk, Danbury, and Newington, CT, Farmingdale, East Meadow & Yonkers, NY and Paramus NJ. Stew’s earned its nickname, the “Disneyland of Dairy Stores” because of its country-fair atmosphere, with costumed characters and animated entertainment throughout the store that keep children entertained while parents shop.
Pizza Host
Full Time Hourly – starting rate $15/hour
Weekly Pay
Position Description:
Pizza maker is responsible for preparation of Pizza, Stromboli, Calzones, etc.
Your day-to-day:
- Preparation of pizza for the day
- Assisting customer within the department
- Preparing prepackaged pizza/products for customers
- Rotating shelves
What you bring to the team:
- Pizza making experience preferred
- Excellent customer service
- Good oral communication skills
- Great work ethic
- Flexible
- Honest
Working Conditions:
Position requires frequent walking, squatting, bending, pushing, pulling and lifting, more than 50lbs consistently throughout shift. Working in an environment that can be hotter than room temperature due to the pizza ovens.
