EDUCATION

• A High School diploma or GED equivalency is preferred from an accredited institution.

EXPERIENCE

• Two years’ work experience operating Acme Gridley or Davenport multiple spindle screw machines or related experience.
• Previous work experience in machine shop type equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)

• Successful completion of Operator Training Program.
• Basic math skills, including ability to use micrometers and other measuring devices.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions.
• Ability to use and accurately enter information into a computer.
• Ability to inspect parts, visual acuity.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long period of time.
• Proficiency in English language skills, including effective verbal and written communication.
• Willingness and ability to work extended hours, including overtime and weekends as required.
