Job Summary and Qualifications

The Manager of Employee Health is responsible for coordinating the Employee Health & Safety and Injury Programs. The Employee Health Program supports the mission, vision and values of The Medical Center of Arlington and the philosophy of the Department of Nursing and promotes, advocates and supports the nursing staff’s primary commitment to protect the health, safety and rights of the individual, family or community.


  • Responsible for accurate and timely filing and reporting of information.
  • Responsible for effective communication with employees and physicians regarding employee injury status.
  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining effective tracking systems for employee health needs.
  • Responsible for reporting of injuries and timely payment of medical bills to providers.
  • Responsible for assisting with processing of new hires through employee health process.
  • Responsible for following all necessary guidelines for release of information.
  • Responsible maintaining confidentiality and releasing information on a need to know basis only.
  • Responsible for completing risk reports and annual Premium Credit Report.
  • Maintains accurate OSHA log and complies with posting requirements.
  • Collaborates on corporate and hospital initiatives as assigned.
  • Authorized to access secure drug and biological storage areas when completing a medication management orientation and when necessary to perform, the assigned duties.

What qualifications you will need:

Minimum Education / Licensure/Certifications

  • Current State of Texas RN license or compact state license required.
  • Current Healthcare Provider BLS issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.

Minimum Experience

  • 3 years hospital nursing; employee health, infection control or Emergency experience preferred.

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
