Responsibilities:

What do our Paralegals do?

The Paralegal primarily provides support to legal department attorneys and resolves routine legal issues with customers, clients and/or regulatory agencies. This particular position will be in the commercial legal team, and have primary responsibility for the review of commercial customer contracts.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:


  • Develops familiarity with all company required contract guidelines and processes.
  • Reviews and negotiates customer contracts under supervision of attorney.
  • Communicates with field sales and operations teams on contract requirements.
  • Reviews and assists company personnel on customer onboarding documentation.
  • Provides routine training assistance to company colleagues on contract requirements.
  • Compiles activity logs and shares performance activity with team.
  • Participates in team meetings and discussion regarding performance improvement.
  • Contributes to periodic team projects on system and process improvement.
What do you need?
  • Associates/Bachelors degree and Paralegal Certification
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area or a combination of education and experience
  • Must be able to effectively multi-task, manage time-sensitive documents and have exceptional organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Investigative mind and strong research skills
  • Working knowledge legal database software
  • Experience in preparing legal reports
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Must pass pre-employment background screen
