Private Equity Associate

We are searching for a Private Equity Associate in the Washington D.C. area to monitor venture capital portfolio activity and execute platform investments.
Job responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:
- Execute and structure M&A transactions for portfolio companies
- Produce financial models and forecasts as needed
- Analyze and monitor post-investment portfolio company performance
- Provide investment analysis, due diligence, underwriting, and other finance activities as needed
- Manage capital calls, distributions, expense allocations, and investor reports
- Serve as liaison with management team, intermediaries, and other parties
- Participate in capital events
- Optimize workflow efficiency and streamline with the implementation of new processes and systems
- Complete ad hoc projects as requested
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- 2+ years of investment banking and/or private equity experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience using financial modeling software
- Keen attention to detail
- Excellent work ethic with a team-player mentality
- Desire for long-term growth
- MBA is a plus
- Base salary determined by experience level ($80,000-120,000+)
