Job Description

We are currently seeking an individual that can cover the duties of a receptionist with a leading Southern California recycler of paper products and other waste solutions services.

This person will be the first point of contact for the company and will provide administrative support for several areas. In addition to greeting customers over the phone, you will handle the flow of people through the business and ensure the responsibilities are delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Greeting, welcoming and directing customers, employees, vendors and visitors.
  • Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls while providing basic information when needed.
  • Enter customer service requests.
  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, collating, emailing photos, faxing etc.

Requirements

  • Work experience in similar roles and familiar with Microsoft Office.
  • Professional appearance and solid communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise.
  • Ability to organize, multitask and prioritize.
  • High school degree
  • Bilingual preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.50 per hour
