Job Description:

Parsons is looking for a sharp and talented Senior Software Engineer/Developer to join our Mission Solutions team! In this role you will get to support development of an exciting new space and ground capability for the United States Space Force.

What You'll Be Doing :

  • Support the development and integration of software and applications into the MEO Track Custody (MTC) ground environment.
  • Develop and conduct models and simulations of the development and operational environment.
  • Develop MTC Constellation Mission Management (CMM) and integrate Mission Management (MM) solutions for MTC, including interfaces with Persistent GEOINT Mission Manager (PGMM) via Real-time Transfer Service (RTS).
  • Develop and integrate the ground resource management system (GRM).
  • Up to 10% travel may be required

What Required Skills You'll Bring :

  • No clearance required to start, but you must be willing/able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, which requires US citizenship
  • Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of experience
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment Pipelines
  • Experience with Atlassian Tool suite
  • Experience with Jenkins Build tools
  • Experience working as part of a diverse team
  • Familiarity with system administration necessary to configure software installations
  • Self-starter requiring minimal supervisory direction and oversight
  • Experience in modeling and simulation (M&S) and CAMEO systems modeler for those supporting M&S
  • Experience in Model Based Systems Engineering

What Desired Skills You'll Bring :

  • SECRET clearance with ability to obtain an SCI clearance
  • Eight (8) years of general experience in computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, or a related discipline, to include:
  • At least three (3) years of experience in software intensive projects and programs for government customers.
  • At least two (2) years of the experience must have been as a software engineer supporting software architecture development, requirements analysis, process execution and evaluation, selection and evaluation of COTS/GOTS tools, and integration (with both new and existing systems)
  • Working knowledge of Overhead Persistent InfraRed systems and architecture

Salary Range:

$113,100.00 - $203,600.00
