Social Media Marketer – Job Description
Social Media Manager is an independent self-starter position that requires the successful candidate to own this position and drive its success. Social Media Manager is responsible for overseeing a Company's interactions with the public by implementing social media platforms' content strategies. The successful Social Media Manager must be assertive in their ability to come up with unique content showing how our recommendations help people in unique ways that stick with people.
High Level Duties:
- Oversee 2 social network accounts and 1 website
- Utilize both accounts and strategize with both accounts to maximize product sales, follows and reach
- Using social media marketing tools create and maintain the Company’s brand
- Analyze engagement data, identify trends in customer interactions and plan digital campaigns to build and expand the AOS community online
- Conceptualize content and join weekly meeting with AOS’s videographer and graphic designer on weekly basis to discuss Friday content shooting plans:
o Strategize for following week
o Shoot content
o Draft email for weekly email blasts
o Pick product of the week
o Introduce procedures/services
o Spotlight esthetician
o Etc.
- Produce and organize the content shoots and coordinate with AOS management for the models on Fridays
- Create monthly content calendar from the content we create on Fridays, both long form and short form content. Obtain prior approvals from CEO
- Weekly email blasts highlighting product of the week, specials, promotions, etc.
- Manage and update website as appropriate
The Social Media Manager will need to acquire appropriate level of product knowledge during her employment with Artisan of Skin to better understand the market that AOS is serving. Social Media Manager will spend 1 working day per week in the office full day to strategize on content for the following week, receive full approval from CEO at the end of the day.
Initial social media posting schedule plans:
· TIKTOK: Monday through Sunday 1 time per day
· YouTube Shorts: Monday through Sunday 1 time per day
· Instagram Reels: Monday through Sunday 1 time per day
· Facebook Reels: Monday through Sunday 1 time per day
· Instagram Posts: Monday through Sunday 1 time per day
· Instagram Stories: Monday through Sunday 1 time per day
Additional duties, time commitments, and goals:
· Minimum 2 hours each day after posting for commenting back to people and maintaining and managing AOS’s social media sites and website
· Ensuring positive consumer experience on all AOS social media platforms
· Managing deliverables and agreements for influencers
· Growing online customer database
· Using AOS’s social media platforms to sell products with proper strategy.
· Come up with unique ideas of sharing what we do featuring our loyal client base of influencers, celebrities, and all the transformations we do.
· Statistical weekly reports showing campaigns and their success rates
· Create consumer-based content: utilizing our products and working to get testimonials, before and after transformation videos, how-to videos while describing the benefits of the products and services, at home masks/facial routines, post facial care routine
· Getting clients that are influencers currently to do content (e.g., “My morning routine”, “My nighttime routine”, “My favorite masks and why”, etc.)
· Assist and be assertive in working to get as much as we can from the accounts, we sell products from.
· Develop and implement internet marketing strategies to optimize the online user experience, increase marketing effectiveness and improve customer satisfaction
Social Media Manager must have proven track records of success regarding successful social media advertising.
Social Media Manager must also ensure proper and organized management of all content in an easy to find and access format.
Experience and Qualifications:
· Three (3) years’ experience managing social media accounts in a similar company
· Experience with different editing software, email platforms, and cloud storage
· Strong communication skills
· Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize and identify performance improvement opportunities based on data
· Attention to detail
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, pivot quickly as needed, and work with utmost discretion
· Experience in developing the visual design of consumer-facing materials
· Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field
