ROLE

Hourly: $20 Base with a $100 bonus each fully executed wedding/event

Type: Hybrid (Remote and OnSite at New Venues)

Hours: Part Time (Seasonal Lows/Highs)

Benefits: Paid Holidays + PTO

The venue manager maintains full ownership of their venue and venue team. This position will manage all operations and always puts the venue's excellence as their first priority. Knowing the ins and outs of every aspect of the property is essential to being successful in this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

This includes but is not limited to, owning full client experience at the point the contract is signed and money is deposited to a heartfelt thank you post event. The venue manager creates rapport with the venue owner and all staff on property, while maintaining the venue’s excellence, integrity and presentation. This position will be the direct report of all staff on property, including Assistant Venue Managers, Facilities team members, and all day of event staff.

  • Enhance the Customer Experience from handover from sales to post event reviews
  • Couple/Client Guidance and Coaching
  • Final Walkthrough (client and vendors)

  • RoS and Google Drive Maintenance
  • Oversee all events on property, 8hr onsite management on day of events
  • Post event follow up
  • Constantly improve venue processes and procedures
  • Own vendor relations and access on site
  • Supervise all venue upkeep and repairs of venue grounds, property, equipment and facilities
  • Maintain a standard of excellence of the venue and its events
  • In charge of staffing all day of event needs
  • Collect all insurance and waivers on client and vendor side
  • Assist the Social Media Manager with venue social media, online community management and blogs.
  • Build relationships with venue owners to ensure successful property management
  • Provide regular updates, respond to management/team asks and address any owner concerns in a timely manner
  • Open communication with full venue team
  • Work with and support the sales team
  • Plan and coordinate vendor showcase events and attend open houses
  • Monthly reporting tracking
  • Train and retain all venue new hires. Maintain a safe and enjoyable working environment
  • Always promote the venue and its events through a variety of marketing channels such as social media.

Ultimately, a top-notch venue manager is able to anticipate all logistics and requirements for events, show exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills and ensure the venue generates profit for the company with all 5-star client reviews.

Requirements:
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong leadership skills.
  • Full Time Availability- (seasonal lows 30 hrs/highs 40+ hrs).
  • Event/Venue Management experience.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Isn’t scared of saying No and being bad cop.
  • Okay with repetition.
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm in stressful situations.
