Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk/ Office Clerk

Compensation: Based on experience
Primary Accountabilities and/or Functions:
Receive, post, pay invoices (payables) and maintain organized filing system of them. Control company credit cards.
Essential Functions:
Receive and enter all Shop, G&A payables, Maintenance vendor payables. Ensuring purchases are documented appropriately and posting them correctly. Make payments to vendors. Handle vendor phone calls. Maintain organized files of payables. Assist with incoming calls such as requests for estimates/sales appointments upon request. Assist Shop Manager, renew vehicle tags and duties as assigned. Drive to DMV as needed.
Work Environment:
This is a full-time position in the office setting. The Accounts Payable Clerk works with vendors, potential customers, other office staff, and employees who make purchases.
Knowledge & Skill Requirements:
Basic accounting/bookkeeping knowledge and skills are necessary. Working knowledge of software applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, QuickBooks, and database accounting type programs is needed to effectively perform job functions. Individual must be proficient with data entry and communicate effectively with others. Associate degree or relevant certification is a plus.
Supervision:
The Office & Payable Clerk work under the supervision of the Controller and does not have responsibility for supervising other employees.
