Volt is immediately hiring for a Repair Technician in Jeffersonville, IN.
As a Repair Technician you will be responsible for:
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Hook up notebook to test program and run test program
• Be able to meet or exceed production quota daily
• Be able to troubleshoot notebook failures
• Maintain all test equipment needed for product repair
• Maintain a clean and safe working area
• Provide detailed training needs to area lead
• Be conscientious to repair area operations for process improvements
• Practice and follow safe lifting and ESD precautions
• Keep accurate daily records of work performance and area needs
• Always be professional in conduct and appearance
• Be dedicated to providing world-class customer service

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• A Plus Certification or Associate degree in Electronics is preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed schematic
• Ability to read and follow detailed instructions and procedures
• Experience in computer operations, troubleshooting and configurations are preferred.
• Experienced and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Possess written and oral communication skills
• Microsoft Office experience
• ESD precaution and safe lifting procedures

This is a contract to hire opportunity.
Schedule:? ?1st Shift: M-F, 7:00AM-03:30PM & 2nd Shift: T-S, 3:30PM-12:00AM
Duration: 03+ months (Temp to Hire)
Location: Jeffersonville, IN
Pay Range: $17.50 - $18.50 per hour
