Dishwasher and Busser

Position Summary

5 days/wk Bussing tables and washing dishes. Light food prep. These essential positions facilitate the flow of the restaurant. Apply in-person. The hiring manager is available to conduct live interviews Monday, Tuesday, Friday from 12:00-2:00 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 1:30-3:00 PM.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Removes all dishes and other items from the tables following the meal

• Clean, sanitize, and prepare the tables for new guests

• Performs cleaning and janitorial side work as assigned

• Performs light food prep - cut fruit, whip butter, squeeze OJ (equipment use)

• Supports servers and kitchen staff in other duties as required

• Performs other work-related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• The ability to learn and adhere to our standards, company guidelines, and culture
• Physical stamina to lift and carry heavy items (dishes, tubs, etc.) up to 50 lbs
• Previous restaurant experience strongly preferred
• High energy and stamina are required
• Ability to stay calm and work efficiently under pressure
• Ability to prioritize job duties and manage time effectively
• Strong verbal communication skills required
• Willingness to work mornings, weekends, and holidays as required
• Excellent customer service to treat guests like family
• Ability to read menus, safety documents, and other work-related documents
• Must possess a Food Handler's card or acquire one prior to orientation
• Must be eligible to work in the United States. We use E-Verify.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.50 per hour
