Job Description
Volt is hiring for Auto Body Technicians that are looking to join a company in the Hanford, Ca area.
As an Auto Body Technician, you will be using tools to find any potential issues with someone’s vehicle, explains problems with the car to the driver and performing maintenance on the car to fix it or prevent it from future breakdowns or issues.
Responsibilities
- Evaluates the assembly processes and equipment to look for continuous improvement opportunities.
- Acts as a consultant to other production/engineering groups on quality issues.
- Escalates functional and process failures to the appropriate support groups and supervisors.
- Understands and ensures adherence to required procedures and processes.
- Analyze quality data to determine and drive the desired outcome.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and people skills, comfortable presenting ideas and issues to peer groups and leaders.
- Capable to develop and follow non-verbal communication
- Replace or repair transmissions and fuel components as needed.
- Repair cooling components and systems including air conditioners and engine cooling.
- Perform emissions inspections, safety checks and similar state-regulated vehicle examinations.
- Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
- Produce legible and accurate paperwork reflecting work performed.
- Possess a valid state driver’s license for conducting test drives.
Qualifications
- MS Office programs (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) experience
- Working for extended periods of time
- Lifting objects up to 35lbs
- Use of complex tooling that requires specialized training
- Ability to follow a required specific sequence of steps in a process repetitively for an extended period of time
Shift: 2nd
Pay: $18.50 - $20.50
Prior experience is preferred.
