Summary of Internship

The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Intern will support our strategic social impact partnerships aligned with our primary CSR focus areas: equitable access to STEM Education and Global Health Equity. The intern will also work closely with our colleague-driven Community Action Councils to amplify the impact of these partnerships through colleague engagement. The intern will gain hands-on experience with event planning, data collection and analysis, and presentations while also learning how the world leader in serving science puts its Mission into action for society and the planet.

Essential Functions

• Specific tasks or special projects will be tailored to the intern’s experience level and development areas.
• Support the CSR team on special projects that grow Thermo Fisher’s reputation and demonstrate our role in scientific discovery and our impact on our communities.
• Support projects related to colleague volunteerism, grantmaking, partnership management, and data collection and analysis.
• Develop colleague engagement resources to support our primary CSR focus areas of STEM Education equity and Global Health Equity.

Qualifications:

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree.
• 0+ years of experience preferred.
• To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and should not require sponsorship (current or future) for employment visa status.
