Google Workspace is a division focused on delivering communications and collaboration technologies to consumers and businesses around the world. As a Director of Communications, you will be responsible for shaping internal and external communications strategies, working across Googler consumer products, marketing, policy, partner teams, sales, and more. You will help navigate and communicate Google Workspace’s unique value proposition to end users, employees, customers, partners, and other stakeholders, promoting the critical role this product play in helping users enhance their productivity.
As a leader on the team, you will drive an integrated communications strategy internally and externally, manage and grow a team of communications professionals, work cross-functionally to communicate with journalists and other thought leaders, devise specific communications materials and campaigns, support communications for Google Workspace’s General Manager and other leaders, and counter misinformation that might interfere with business.
As part of the Google Global Communications and Public Affairs team, we work to inform and educate end users, customers, partners, and opinion leaders about the benefits of Google Cloud products, company culture/values, and approach.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $238,000-$351,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
