Job Position: Esthetician
Sugaring NYC Alamo Ranch is seeking to hire licensed estheticians to perform body hair removal by sugaring, eyebrow laminations, facials, eyelash lifts, and tints.
Pay will reflect relevant experience in management, marketing, and esthetics.
Position Overview:
- The perfect candidate will have experience in the services being provided at our spa.
- Be personable with team members and clients.
- Be willing to work as a team, commit to following a rotating schedule and respect the client's and spa's time by being punctual.
- Although we prefer experience, we are willing to train the right candidates.
- Base Pay will reflect the candidate's experience in sugaring.
- Starting pay with No experience $10/hr + Tips + Commission = ($18-$30/hr)
Qualifications:
- Must be a licensed Texas Esthetician or Cosmetologist.
- A minimum of 1 year experience in Sugaring is preferred but willing to train the right candidates.
- Bring a POSITIVE, enthusiastic, personable attitude and be passionate about skincare.
- Be comfortable working with Sugaring and performing body hair removal. (all genders)
- Have a deep and thorough understanding of skin, skincare, and products.
- Consistently deliver remarkable customer service.
- Able to utilize new techniques and ideas.
- Has a strong work ethic and team-player attitude.
- Great Communication Skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, attention to detail.
- Reliable and punctual.
Responsibilities:
- Create an excellent and unforgettable experience for our clients.
- Provide a fun, high-quality body sugaring experience.
- Educate clients on the sugaring options and supplemental services to ensure the best possible outcomes.
- Analyze, consult, and perform high-quality hair removal in a professional and comfortable setting.
- Build new guest relationships and focus on the retention of clients.
- Meet and exceed service and retail objectives.
- Meet the schedule needs of the Spa.
- Check Clients In/Out using our POS system.
- Adapt to new situations efficiently.
- Mature and maintain appropriate conversations before, during, and after services.
- Restock spa rooms and maintain inventory.
- Follow the policy standards for changing shifts including cancellations.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must be physically capable of working on their feet for 8+ hours a day.
- Must have full mobility of hands and arms.
- Must be able to lean down, bend over, stoop, squat, and multitask.

- Base Pay will depend on experience in sugaring, brow lamination, vajacials, and lash lifts, management, and marketing.
- Tips: Will depend on the client's experience.
- Commission on packages and products sold.
- Raises will be dependent on productivity, customer retention, and customer service.
