Volt is immediately hiring an Export Coordinator!
This is a contingent hire role.
This company in Seattle, WA is seeking an Export Coordinator for their export team. This position will be based at the Corporate Headquarters building in Pioneer Square Seattle. The Export Coordinator role is responsible for supporting Export Supply Chain team, sales teams, as well as external customers including export reloads, service providers, and overseas agents.
The position will have accountability for various inventory receiving and shipment planning activities to ensure on time accurate delivery of orders to customers offshore. This position reports to the Export Supply Chain Manager and supports Export Sales, Export CSR, Export Documentation, and Marine Transportation activities. The Wood Products Supply Chain operates in a dynamic team based environment and this role is critical to successfully delivering on the commitments to our customers.
Effectively communicates with customers to provide order status information. Provides support for Export CSR, Export documentation and Marine Transportation. Performs shipment planning in a timely manner. Generates reports as requested to track / measure various performance metrics. Ensures export documents are filed correctly. Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess at least 1-2 years’ experience preferably in an international field or with exposure to knowledge of export compliance an Export / Offshore markets / or Export. Documentation preferred.
Attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy. Experience working within a fast paced team environment. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Use of an enterprise planning system. Excel software/databases and product knowledge. Time management and prioritization skills.
Salary Range: $20.00-$30.00 per hr
- Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
