WHAT YOU’LL DO

Our owners-to-be can’t wait to get their Seakeeper! As our Logistics Coordinator, you’ll help our customers get their Seakeeper unit as fast as possible and change the way they boat forever. The main focus of your role will be:

  • Collaborating with our Warehouse & Logistics Manager on the shipping schedule to maximize efficiencies in scheduling customer shipments, including monitoring and tracking daily shipments and return shipments until delivery
  • Working closely with the Customer Relations team to ensure the quality of all services provided meet Seakeeper’s required standards through the following:
    • Learning customer-specific requirements and confirming order details as they pertain to freight preferences
    • Maintaining logistics-specific details and making sure they are up to date in the customer profile
  • Determining the best shipping option by working with 3PL partners in freight forwarder portals to evaluate multiple freight quotes and carriers
  • Uploading shipping documents and record data for outbound shipments in our ERP system, NetSuite
  • Maintaining updates and communication with 3PL partners
  • Obtaining knowledge of critical points for successful logistics process execution
  • Managing shipment expenses and entering freight purchase orders

MUST-HAVES

  • 1 year of experience working in a logistics role with freight forwarders and 3PL portals
  • Experience working in an ERP system managing and tracking orders
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Quick learner with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain focus, and adapt to a variety of challenges and changes.
  • Strong attention to detail and effective communication, including writing, speaking, and interpersonal
  • Excellent customer service and client relations skills
  • Good collaboration and teamwork abilities in addition to being able to work independently.
  • Maintain a positive, professional, and customer-centric attitude at all times
  • Be professional, responsive, resourceful, and flexible

NICE-TO-HAVES

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience working for a 3PL logistics company
  • Experience working in a manufacturing setting
  • Experience working in NetSuite, our internal ERP system

MORE DETAILS YOU’LL WANT TO KNOW

  • You’ll be based in our Leesport, PA facility 3 days per week with the ability to work remotely the others
  • Your hours will be M-F 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
    • There may be overtime on occasion driven by seasonality including month, quarter, and year-end
  • You’ll report to the Warehouse & Logistics Manager, also based in Leesport

Our Logistics Coordinator is nestled within our Sales, Service & Strategy department. You’ll work closely with various internal departments, as well as external customers, so you’ll be able to own your role and bring new ideas to the table that will help improve the overall experience of working with Seakeeper.
