Reports to: Director of Logistics and Transportation
FLSA STATUS: Non-exempt

What You’ll Do

The Logistics Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and actively performing the day-to-day logistics duties. Ensuring all freight is handled in a timely and safe manner while verifying damages and any inconsistencies.

  • Assess daily staffing needs and work with vendors
  • Evaluate, train, and coach a revolving team
  • Maintain equipment, inventory, and repairs. Work directly with vendors
  • Identify and report safety issues
  • Supervise and/or work in showrooms
  • Load and unload freight by hand or forklift

Highly Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven experience as forklift operator with valid certification
  • Attention to detail with industrial equipment
  • Strong PC skills, including Microsoft 365 suite
  • Expertise in supervising a diverse team
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Sound judgment and ability to think, act and make decisions independently
  • Ability to prioritize requests appropriately, handle and maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to safely lift 50 to 70 pounds
  • Experience with packing and handling fragile materials
  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends, as required

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
