Summary: We are seeking a skilled Technical Operator with strong mathematical and English communication skills to operate and maintain state-of-the-art equipment used in the production of Kingspan priority insulated foam. The ideal candidate should have excellent computer skills and the ability to understand measurements, work collaboratively in teams, apply critical thinking, have quality and safety awareness, and be mechanically oriented. The position requires rotating shifts and involves making chemical recipes for the production of insulated foam.

Essential Duties:

• Operate and maintain state-of-the-art equipment used in the production of Kingspan priority insulated foam.
• Prepare and make chemical recipes for the production of insulated foam.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during operations.
• Interpret and understand technical specifications, instructions, and measurements.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and timelines.
• Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are met.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
• Maintain and update equipment logs, maintenance records, and other relevant documentation.
• Identify and report potential hazards or safety concerns to management.
• Provide training and support to new team members as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Education/Experience:

• 2 plus years minimum experience in a manufacturing environment required
• Manual Machine Operator experience
• Mechanical Knowledge needed
• Must be able to read a tape measure, complete shop math, add and subtract fractions and be detail-oriented
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
• Excellent mathematical skills and ability to understand and interpret measurements.
• Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
• Ability to work collaboratively in teams and communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Quality and safety awareness and ability to follow protocols and procedures.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate technical equipment.
• Ability to work rotating shifts and varied schedules as required.
• Willingness to learn new skills and take on new challenges.
• Prior experience in chemical manufacturing or related industry is preferred.
