Oculofacial Surgery and Cosmetic Laser Institute provides aesthetic and reconstructive surgical and laser treatments. We are currently seeking a medical receptionist/assistant to help in the front and back office. Qualified applicants should have independent, have critical thinking skills, provide excellent customer service, and be a team player and be comfortable using and posting to social media (Facebook, Instagram, You Tube, Tik Tok). We are looking for someone who can work in a fast paced environment and has the ability to multitask.
JOB DESCRIPTION: MEDICAL ASSISTANT, MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST and SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER
*Typical Physical Demands: Desk work and standing for short periods of time in the operating room.
*Requires excellent communication skills and must be team player. Must be able to express a caring attitude while performing the tasks required with accuracy and efficiency.
Example of Duties: Front Desk and Back Office Medical Assistant and Social Media Manager
· Helps current receptionist/insurance specialist with front desk duties
· Assists with check in and check out
· Helps to answer phone calls and return phone calls to physicians’ offices and pharmacies.
· Schedules patient appointments
· Collect co-payments
· Checking insurance eligibility and benefits
· Collect payment for other services
· Assists back office procedure to provide good patient/doctor workflow.
· Social Media Manager (organizes posts on various platforms-Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok) required to post multiple times a week.
· Assists in setting up surgical procedures and circulator during the surgical case.
· Helps with care, maintenance and stocking of assigned rooms.
· Attends required staff and educational meetings as requested.
· Maintains strictest confidentiality.
· Helps in all other areas in office when completion of above responsibilities permits to ensure smooth operation of the practice.
