Summary/Objective
The parts delivery driver provides excellent customer service through the safe and efficient delivery of parts to our customers and field technicians using a company-provided vehicle.

Provide excellent customer service to our customers with a sense of urgency- Complete orders by pulling parts, preparing them for delivery and ensuring timely receipt
- Accurately loading & unloading product carefully to prevent damage
- Drives company vehicles in a safe, courteous and responsible manner
- Responsible for cleanliness and standard maintenance of delivery vehicles as well as observing company safety procedures
- Assist in keeping parts department and vehicles clean and orderly
- Assist with warehouse receiving, cycle counts, Machine Down and Surplus Returns
- Follow all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
- Routinely lifts items weighting up to 50 lbs
- Complete all other assigned responsibilities as needed
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works outside in extreme weather conditions, including heat and cold. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the field can be moderately loud when working around equipment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk and hear. This position is active and requires standing, walking, balancing, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and /or move items over 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee is constantly required to use both hands/arms to drive, operate equipment and secure loads.

Expected Hours of Work
This is a full -time position and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 5:00 (No guarantee you will be off by 5:00 each day. Your day ends when you finish your deliveries). During peak season, which typically runs March through October, drivers will be expected to work overtime which can include working Saturdays or Sundays. Overtime will be paid in accordance to The Fair Labor Standards Act.
Travel
Travel is primarily local/regional, although out of region and overnight travel may be expected.
Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge
High School diploma or equivalent- Demonstrated basic understanding of the selling processes
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a degree of independence.
- Experience using standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet applications
- Valid driver’s license with a verifiable safe driving history
