Under general supervision, the Laboratory Collector (Phlebotomist) performs phlebotomy and other specimen collection procedures to obtain quality samples for clinical laboratory testing. The phlebotomist accurately and efficiently provides general administrative support to the laboratory department. The Phlebotomist provides excellent customer support and models appropriate behavior as exemplified in the HCMC Mission Statement and the HCMC Standards of Behavior, reflecting commitment to the continuous improvement process of the Department of Laboratory Services and Henry County Medical Center.
Full Time second shift 76 hours payperiod
Education: High School diploma or equivalent. General knowledge of science and computers. Completion of Phlebotomy course and certification, preferred
Licensure and Certification:
Phlebotomy Certification is not required, but desirable
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification is not required, but desirable
