A privately owned family practice was established almost a decade ago in San Antonio by a doctor known as the city's most recognized functional medicine doctor. As a family wellness-oriented practice, we are growing on a sustained rhythm. We have two locations in the city of San Antonio and constructing the third location in Austin, Texas: the first close to the downtown area at Broadway and the second on the north side of the city at 1604 & Blanco.
We have been serving our community by providing high-quality services based on pillars of health in functional medicine and guiding our patients through recovering their health, preventing illness, and managing their chronic health conditions.
Currently, VLWC has a staff composed of 1 medical doctor, 1 osteopathic doctor, 6 nurse practitioners, and one physician assistant. Our patient population is approximately 17000 patients and grows steadily at approximately 200 new patients per month. We accept most of the major insurances.
Every healthcare clinician will see approximately 18 to 20 patients daily in a full-day clinic. Vital Life Wellness Center is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 am – 5:30 pm. Monday – Thursday is scheduled clinic patient care. Fridays are half days with the clinic in the morning and Administrative time in the afternoon. No weekend calls or patient hospital rotations.
VLWC is seeking a healthcare clinician board certified in family medicine with experience in women's health. Our ideal candidate will be a Medical/Osteopathic doctor trained in family medicine, interested in preventive medicine, women’s and men's health, regenerative, and anti-aging medicine. Preferably board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine or pursuing this certification and willing to continue learning about functional medicine. Committed to working with a team of providers engaged in impacting the community by creating a culture of awareness of wellness and prevention.
