SUMMARY
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the timely implementation of all Commercial solar projects from contract execution to final completion. The Project Manager will maintain a detailed project schedule, ensuring all contractual requirements are met from the point of transfer from sales to operations, and ensure that customers’ expectations on timelines, quality, and service are exceeded.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Daily assessment of customer monitoring portals, providing updates and reports to key stakeholders.
  • Communicate with customers regarding system notices, prepare work orders and scheduling date and time technicians will provide service or

repair.
  • Initiate quotes for renewing monitoring systems, working with finance on sales pricing.
  • Create and maintain ownership manuals for new and existing systems.
  • Prepare System Efficiency reports to be sent to client monthly / quarterly / annual.
  • Work with Sales Team to ensure lead generation/sales hand off process workflow is implemented and runs smoothly to start jobs.
  • Work with Operations Manager to arrange contractors, permits, and other special arrangements as needed.
  • Work with Finance Department to ensure billing, financing paperwork, materials and inventory, procurement and budget tracking of jobs.
  • Participate in Operations team meeting providing weekly customer and job updates to senior staff.
  • Process customer schedules and customer spreadsheets to ensure we are meeting all appropriate customer needs and expectations.
  • Digital filing of all project documents including permitting, rebate claims, and any and all utility interconnection documentation.
  • Additional duties required as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • AA or high school diploma with experience, PMP Certification a plus.
  • Strong customer service experience
  • Previous experience in project coordination/project management required
  • Organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to "go the extra mile"
  • Must have CONSTRUCTION Type Background and knowledge of navigating job sites, and timelines of installation
  • Proficient in the use of computer based applications; including Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Project and/or Salesforce.
  • Valid CA driver's license and clean driving record required
  • Must be able to successfully complete prescreen background check

PERFFERED QUIALIFICATIONS
  • Project Management Profession Certification a plus
  • Previous commercial solar experience or solar knowledge a plus
  • Knowledge of equipment, materials and supplies proper use in construction work highly preferred
