As Resolution Training Specialist at Optima Tax Relief, LLC's ("Optima") Santa Ana, California office, this role reports directly to the Associate Director of Training and Development. This position is responsible for leading the Training and Development of new hires and current team members in all roles within Resolution. They will provide in-depth insight to each role while cultivating a positive setting within and outside of the training environment. The Training Specialist will assist in designing, implementing and promoting the training and career development programs for Resolution team members. As such, they must always lead with integrity and build trust throughout all levels of the organization while developing the team to promote growth and retention.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify training needs by evaluating strengths and weaknesses
Translate requirements into trainings that will groom employees for the next step of their career path
Build annual training program and prepare teaching plans
Develop or oversee the production of classroom handouts, instructional materials, aids and manuals
Direct structured learning experiences and monitor their quality results
Assess training effectiveness to ensure incorporation of taught skills and techniques into employees work behavior
Conduct additional coaching and training as indicated by management to cultivate continuous improvement where needed
Work with SMEs, business owners, and stakeholders to transform expert content into learner-friendly classroom, online and/or blended learning solutions
Performs duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in related field from an accredited institution
3 plus years relevant experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS,& ABILITIES
Proven experience in designing multiple training events in a corporate setting
Extensive knowledge of instructional design theory and learning principles
Proven ability to master the full training cycle
Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods, tools and techniques
Familiarity with talent management and succession planning
Sound decision making and organizational skills
Proficient and comfortable with office equipment (Computer skills Microsoft Office, Outlook)
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
Excellent relationship building and influencing skills
