Actuarial Analyst or Senior Actuarial Analyst (Reserving)
Job Summary
The Actuarial Analyst or Senior Actuarial Analyst will provide research, analysis, recommendations, and insights to support the reserving responsibilities within the Actuarial department.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Continuously exhibit and uphold Core Values of Integrity, Accountability, Communication and

- Provide reserving support to Actuarial team for all lines of business
- Provide actuarial analysis and strategic support to management regarding insurance products
and business activities
- Perform and peer review periodic actuarial reserve reviews
- Provide special reports, data compilations, analysis of Company and industry experience, as well
as other ad hoc analysis requests
- Provide data and reporting support for the various needs throughout the company
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Intermediate actuarial reserving skills
- Proficiency using databases (SQL & Access)
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to organize complex information and pay close attention to detail
- Ability to work successfully as an individual contributor and in a team environment
- Ability to travel occasionally, including overnight travel
Experience and Education
Actuarial Analyst
- Bachelor’s degree in related field required
- Minimum of two years of actuarial experience in the insurance industry required
- Successful completion of two or more Casualty Actuarial Society exams required
- Experience using Arius reserving software preferred
Senior Actuarial Analyst
- Bachelor’s degree in related field required
- Minimum of four years of actuarial experience in the insurance industry required
- Successful completion of three or more Casualty Actuarial Society exams required
- Experience using Arius reserving software preferred
