U.S. Bank is looking for a Senior Java/Spring Boot Software Engineer to join one of our technology teams. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for assisting the team in a migration from .NET to Java and Spring Boot, as well as working with architects/developers on proof of concept/design.
This position will be responsible for the analysis, design, testing, development and maintenance of best in class software experiences. The candidate is a self-motivated individual who can collaborate with a team and across the organization. The candidate takes responsibility of the software artifacts produced adhering to U.S. Bank standards in order to ensure minimal impact to the customer experience. The candidate will be adept with the agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles.

Experience with Design & Implementation of Microservices architecture patterns and Domain Driven Design.
Cloud native application development experience with containerization, orchestration and service mesh (Docker/Kubernetes/ISTIO) and public cloud experience (AWS/GCP).
Experience working in a DevOps environment in an on-prem or public cloud environment (Git/GitHub, CI/CD Pipelines, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, GCP)
10+ years of progressive responsibilities in one or more of the following areas: API development and delivery, application design, Expertise in Java/Java EE and web-based applications and services.
5+ years of experience/expertise in highly scalable and available critical enterprise Java applications using Spring core, Spring MVC, Spring Boot Frameworks, GraphQL, Java EE Design Patterns, Kafka, Webservices, relational database, NoSQL cloud supported databases (Cassandra DB is preferred).
5+ years of experience – Designing API (Domain Driven Design) & Microservices architecture/design/implementation.
3+ years of experience in working in a Cloud and DevOps environment.
Experience with security, logging, monitoring best practices
