Lab Tech II in
Maplewood, Minnesota with a well-known industry leader. This is an exciting opportunity in which you will perform chemical, physical and or mechanical analyses and tests required for research, development, or quality control of processes and products.
As a Lab Tech II you will:
- Work with a team of technicians to operate, maintain, and configure equipment to support process laboratory experiments.
- Support setup, clean-up, troubleshooting, and changeover of lab equipment
- Manage incoming and outgoing raw materials, experimental outputs, and scrap.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Actively engage with laboratory technicians and process engineers to maintain daily operations.
Position Type: Contingent
Estimated Duration 24+ months.
The ideal candidate will have:
- High school diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
- One (1) year of work experience in a private, public, government or military environment
- Ability to lift 25 lbs (pails, samples, etc)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates or Technical program certificate in engineering, science, technology or related field
- Work experience in a laboratory or manufacturing setting
- Experience with extruders or other polymer processing equipment
- Ability to work well in a team environment with little supervision
- Intermediate computer knowledge (Microsoft Office Suite)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Pay Rate:
$25.00-$25.95
- Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
