Keystone Engineering is currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Lafayette team.

Position Type: Full-time

Location: Lafayette, LA

Work Environment/Physical Demands: Office/Sedentary

Travel Requirements: Occasional site visits required.

Essential Functions:

  • Performs engineering calculations.
  • Provide concise, factual project designs, allowing effective construction/installation.
  • Works with other Engineers, Designers, Construction QA/QC, and contracted contractors.
  • Provides project control documentation as required ,including: project design, project estimation, material/equipment procurement, field assessments of existing infrastructure, contracting requirements ,scheduling requirements, construction requirements, project closure requirements, status reporting.
  • Manages budget.

Experience Required:

  • P.E. license.
  • 5-15 years of experience with equipment and materials.
  • Critical analytical skills.
  • Midstream, pipeline, refining, terminal and manufacturing services.
  • Plant equipment, piping and refactoring solutions, instrumentation/valve specification and data sheets.

Experience Preferred:

  • Experience with: project supervision and management of project team, Caesar, Hydraulic Modeling Software, HYSIS.
