Job Description

We are hiring for a Server to join our team immediately. The successful candidate for this position must have at least 2 years of experience in a restaurant environment, be well versed in food preparation and be able to effectively communicate with customers. Our Servers work in food-heavy establishment where they are responsible for taking customer orders, bringing food to waiting tables, taking payment and accurately ringing up customers.

Responsibilities:

• Serve food and drinks to customers, taking customer preferences into account.
• Deal with difficult customers.
• Communicate with customers.
• Anticipate customer needs.
• Follow safety and security policies and procedures, such as locking up the cash register at the end of the night.
• Follow health codes and maintain a clean, sanitary restaurant.
• Take out the garbage and other waste in the dining area.
• Clean dishes, glassware, cutlery, stovetops and sinks.
• Remove tables from the dining room.
• Keep track of all dishes broken by careless customers.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
