Job Summary:

Supports more senior software engineers and developers in coding, debugging, testing, and documenting software. This position requires knowledge of modern software development tools (e.g., GitHub, Jira) and web development languages (e.g., NodeJS, Python, JSON, JSON-LD). Knowledge of at least some of the following is strongly preferred: web protocols and APIs (e.g., REST, HTTPS), web security and identity (e.g., SSL certificates, OAuth, Keycloak), linked data (e.g. JSON-LD), distributed learning standards and specifications (e.g., SCORM, xAPI, cmi5, Learning Activity Metadata), mobile development (e.g., iOS, Android, React, Angular), web user interfaces, cloud server configuration and server stacks (e.g., LAMP), and containerization (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)

Education Required: Preferred Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or self-taught.

Security Clearance: The ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret security clearance

Travel: 10% as needed

Knowledge and practical experience In:

• Scripting and programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, NodeJS, Java, Python, Java, C#, Bash, PowerShell)
• Standard systems engineering, computer software management, agile development methodologies.
• Modern software development tools (e.g., GitHub, Jira)
• Server-side web apps
• Client-side web apps (e.g., Meteor, React, Angular, Knockout),
• Browser languages (e.g., HTML5, JS, CSS)
• Communications technologies and software.

Skilled At:

• Writing (prose, editing, proofreading and presentation) and oral communications skills.

Ability To:

• Ability to balance multiple projects to meet tight deadlines and customer satisfaction.
• Ability to operate efficiently in a Windows environment with computer skills including MS Office Suite of tools, MS SharePoint, and Adobe.
• Offer innovative and practical solutions for improving the quality of deliverables and efficacy of process execution.

Experience In:
