Noblis MSD’s mission is to support the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWCPD) in their missions to enable research, development, test and evaluation, acquisition, engineering, systems integration, in-service and fleet engineering with cybersecurity, comprehensive logistics, and life-cycle savings. Noblis MSD is seeking a Systems Engineer to support U.S. Navy Submarine Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) programs. You will provide engineering and technical assistance support in the Philadelphia Navy Yard.
Writing and performing system and software test plans and procedures.
- Support/witness software/system testing and troubleshooting in both a shipboard and lab environment.
- Participate in management, development and review for system and software tests.
- Understanding risk management and providing recommendations and solutions for program risk.
- Participate in the development of strategies for collaboration of teams across the program.
- Provide engineering recommendations and solutions to resolve system issues.
- Interface with Government (NAVSEA), Fleet, and Industry Teams; facilitating effective relationships, and attending project team meetings to improve process efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop, review, and update technical documentation.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient with MS Office suite.
Motivated self-starter
Active DoD security clearance, or ability to obtain one.
Ability to travel occasionally; not to exceed 20%.
Required Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline.
Minimum 2+ years of professional engineering experience required.
Understanding of Project Management principles
Prior experience supporting U.S. Navy or DoD programs a plus.

Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position
is provided within the posting and
are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package for employees.
