PF4-DD is seeking a Analyst 1 position. This position will provide support to the Associate Laboratory Directorate of Plutonium Infrastructure (ALDPI) TA-55 modernization mission.
The Analyst 1 position will provide support functions crucial to maintaining security and safety compliance when performing decontamination and decommissioning (D&D) and infrastructure upgrades within PF-4.
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of work experience and education/training
Experience: Minimum 3 years experience in program or project support
Preference: Experience with safety disciplines such as nuclear criticality safety, radiation protection, health and safety, fire protection or safeguards and security.
Typical Duties: Gathers and prepares data necessary to develop and maintain schedules, estimates, work packages, monthly reports, and other controls documents and tools Project support, database development, graphics and web page design, document development, IT support, outreach administration, records package management, procedures development, analytical support, technology research, project management support, supervisory experience, etc. Extracts and calculates performance measurement indices, interviews technical staff as needed to obtain data. Occasionally provides interpretation and analysis of data sets. Fully proficient with controls tools, such as P6, Solid Works, AutoCAD, CREO, Inventor, MS Office Suite, and other packages. The successful candidate could receive assignments in one or more of the areas below.
Nuclear Criticality Safety Interface Team
Coordination Support Interface Team
Modeling and NDA Management Interface Team
Fissionable Material Handler Team
Nuclear Process Support Interface Team
