PRODUCTION STAFF (CONTRACTOR)
Trimming/Packaging/Harvest/Cultivation
Sonoran Roots is looking for 5 motivated and reliable individuals to join our team as Production Staff (Contractor), working alongside our trimmers, packagers, harvesters, and cultivators.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES – PRODUCTION STAFF:
Process marijuana plants ( trim buds, break down plants, prepare fresh frozen material for extraction, etc.).
Package marijuana products, including flower ( bulk flower, pre-packed flower, trim, pre-rolls, kief) and concentrates ( shatter, badder, crumble, sauce, vape cartridges).
Assist in related work such as inventory, product preparation, sanitary practices, waste protocols, cleaning of tools and facility, etc.
Learn and uphold product quality standards.
Understand, abide by, and enforce AZ Department of Health Services (“AZDHS”) rules, regulations and compliance standards.
Wear and maintain appropriate personal protective equipment at all times.
Complete daily checklists of tasks with efficiency and precision.
Assist in maintaining a safe, clean and professional working environment.
Safely and compliantly move cannabis products throughout the facility.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision and attention to detail.
Keep up with a fast paced and high energy environment. We work hard, but we have fun while doing it!
PAY AND BENEFITS:
$15.00/hour.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (Required):
Must be 21+ years old.
Ability to obtain and maintain an AZDHS Facility Agent Card.
Ability to stay focused on tasks and meet production goals.
Attention to detail and ability and willingness to follow instructions.
Able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
Reliable attendance and communication – show up to work when you say you will, and do what you say you are going to do.
Quick learner, and willing to be coachable and flexible with work tasks.
Ability to lift 50+ pounds as needed.
Criminal background check will be performed; most marijuana-related crimes will not negatively impact an application.
Reliable transportation.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (Preferred):
Experience in the cannabis industry (formal or informal) specifically trimming.
Desire for full-time employment opportunities with the company.
High school diploma or GED.
Cannabis-related education.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
You will have the opportunity to work in multiple departments – trim, flower packaging, concentrates packaging, harvest crew, etc. Starting in Trim, you will develop skills that allow you to seek opportunities in departments that best fit your schedule, work style, and facility.
