Job Description


Candidates should have excellent customer service, negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and working knowledge of SAP4 is valuable. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Job responsibilities can be performed in Cleveland, Ohio, Greenville, SC.

  • Reporting to Cash Leader concerning Applied/ Unapplied bank metrics
  • Applying daily incoming bank payments accurately to customer invoices / AR accounts via SAP4 systems
  • Pulling /Analyzing daily bank reports via Bank of America/ Cash Pro
  • Identifying misdirected customer remittances and appropriately provide backup/support for internal/external transfer
  • Work closely with assigned AR representative to obtain remittance advice to post and reconcile payments in a timely manner
  • Work independently to reconcile any unapplied, non-coded, imbalanced cash, debits or deductions on the open items report
  • Accurately use correct general ledger account numbers for write-offs, discounts, small balance, bank fees and properly code/notate customer line items
  • Work closely with Cash Leader to report any system issues and raise any process improvements
  • Other Projects as assigned by Cash Leader

Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of SAP4 experience
  • Prior Experience in Accounts Receivable and Cash Posting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Pivot Tables/Formulas
  • General knowledge of general ledger accounts
  • Effective communication skills
  • Must be able to work independently and be a self-starter
  • Must be detail oriented and maintain a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to Multitask and work in a fast- paced environment
  • An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting or related area is preferred, but not required.
  • Candidates should have 1-3 years of accounts receivable experience, cash application or accounting experience preferred.

Compensation

The position has a compensation package inclusive of base, bonus (if eligible), benefits, 401k contribution, time off, recognition awards and more. This salary range is 21.00-25.00/hour.
