JOB SUMMARY:
Our fast-paced downtown Las Vegas casino properties have an immediate need for an interior designer with experience in the design/architecture field. This position is full time and offers an excellent opportunity for a creative, organized, self-motivated individual who enjoys problem solving and interacting with people at all levels of business and seeking to work in a fun, team-oriented environment.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Research and assist with concepts, design selections, materials, furnishings, and fixtures.
  • Obtain vendor pricing, availability, and shipping information.
  • Coordinate with trades and subcontractors such as upholsterers, millworkers, and drapery manufacturers
  • Assist in general project administration and administrative duties as required.
  • Coordinate with Director of Design on in-house projects and upgrades.
  • Source, research, and meet with vendors.
  • Maintain design department library and vendor database.
  • Space planning.
  • Preparation of presentations.
  • Prepare specifications.
  • Maintain FF&E specification books, project files, and samples.
  • Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A positive can-do attitude.
  • Bachelor's Degree in interior design or architecture.
  • 2+ years of experience in design/architecture.
  • Ability to work in Excel, Word, Outlook, Bluebeam, AutoCAD Adobe Creative Suite, and SketchUp.
  • Hand drawing/quick sketching skills.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented with strong commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both and verbal.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Able to develop and present design concepts and solutions.
  • Must be able to excel in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Schedule flexibility including varied hours or day travel in response to project needs.
  • Ability to adhere to strict deadlines and budgets.
  • Understanding of industry practices, systems, processes, and activities.
